Go2Cloud supports four methods for uploading CD images and server images to your account:
SFTP: Connect over SFTP on port 22, using your account UUID as the username and your secret API key as the password. Both are shown on your profile page under API Tools. Use ftp.go2cloud.co.za if your account is in JHB1, or ftp-jhb2.go2cloud.co.za if it is in JHB2. This suits a graphical client such as FileZilla or WinSCP.
API Upload Tools: Using our command line upload tool is usually the best choice for large images. It uploads in chunks, shows live progress, retries automatically if the connection drops, and can resume an interrupted upload rather than starting again. See Download Command-Line API Tools.
Web Upload Form: For files smaller than 1 GB, you can use the upload form in the control panel. This is the simplest option for small images.
USB Hard Drive: For very large transfers we can accept a USB hard drive by arrangement. Contact support to arrange this.
Once uploaded, your image appears in your library and can be used to install an operating system or boot a server.
